Hannah L. Maxey, PhD, MPH, RDH

Director and Associate Professor
of Family Medicine

Dr. Hannah Maxey received her PhD from the Department of Health Policy and Management at the Indiana University Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health in 2014. Hannah’s work focuses on analyzing complex health sector issues and developing strategic solutions.

Angie hails from an educational background and excels in systems and organization. She manages the schedules of the Bowen Team and the Bowen Center email. We’re so excited to have Angie help us manage communications and many other things!

Meet Our Associate Director

Brittany Daulton, PhD, MS

Bowen Center Associate Director

Dr. Brittany Daulton is the Associate Director at the Bowen Center for Health Workforce Research & Policy. Dr. Daulton collaborates with the Bowen Center team to provide leadership and expertise in Evaluation Science, Research Methodology and translation across the Center’s portfolio of projects. She received a Master of Science in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Northern Kentucky University in 2011, as well as a PhD in Educational Psychology and Research, with a concentration in Evaluation, Statistics, and Measurement from the University of Tennessee in 2015. Her interests include providing data driven solutions within the health workforce, as well as researching and promoting the role of the workforce in health equity. When not working, Britany loves all things sportsespecially cheering on her favorite teams (Go Colts!), playing a round of golf, teaching and participating in Barre workouts, and spending time with her Cavalier King Charles Spaniels Millie and Eloise.

Sierra Vaughn, MPH

Assistant Director of Data and Research

Sierra is an experienced research analyst with a demonstrated history of working in the research industry. Sierra has experience in research coordination, data management and leadership. Sierra is committed to improving health workforce research in Indiana and utilizing best practices to ensure quality health workforce data.

Mykayla Moore, MPH

Assistant Director of Policy and Strategy

Mykayla Moore is the Assistant Director of Policy and Strategy at the Bowen Center for Health Workforce Research and Policy. She earned her Master of Public Health from Indiana University Indianapolis in 2021. Mykayla brings expertise in stakeholder engagement, policy research, and the development of actionable policy recommendations. She is passionate about alleviating health workforce issues through the development and implementation of data-driven policy solutions. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, hiking, and reading.

Cleveland Dietz

Cleveland Dietz

Project Management Specialist

Cleveland Dietz is the project management specialist at the Bowen Center for Health Workforce Research and Policy. He helps ensure that licensure surveys, data reports, and policy briefs are delivered on time according to a biennial agreement with the Indiana Department of Health. He attended Indiana University Indianapolis and received a bachelor’s degree in journalism in 2019. His interests are indoor bouldering, chess, and hiking.
